<体配 style >
平造り庵棟、身幅重とも尋常、反り無し中鋒。茎は生ぶで筋違い鑢がかかり茎尻は刃上りの栗尻。
Hiratsukuri and iorimune. There is no curvature and medium kissaki. Nakago is original.
<地鉄 jigane>
地鉄は板目肌、刃縁付近で柾に流れ、地沸付く。
Itame and masame with jinie.
<刃紋 hamon>
刃紋は尖り互の目、刃緑銀筋が走る。帽子は乱れ込み掃き掛け、尖り気味に返る。

<詳細 detailed>
末関とは、室町時代末期に美濃國の関で鍛刀していた刀工の総称を言い、孫六兼元、兼定、兼房、兼延等の有名刀工が居ます。
本作、無銘ながら美濃伝の特徴を持った寸延び短刀で、戦国時代に鎧に差す腰刀として作られた物です。
拵は新しく作られた物だと思われますが、金梨地に牡丹の花が、高蒔絵された素晴らしい物です。
About Sueseki.
Sueseki is the name of the group which made a sword in Seki of the Mino country late in the Muromachi period(around 1570).
<拵 koshirae>
ハバキ(habaki)：素銅地金着一重横鑢。Made of copper with cover of gold. And pattern is Koshiyujo.
拵(koshirae) ：金梨地高蒔絵牡丹図合口拵。The gold pear ground with gold lacquer of Botan zu.
目貫(menuki) ：銀無垢菊の図（目貫を兼ねる）。solid silver with design of the chrysanthemum.
笄(kogai) ：帆掛舟の図。Design of the sailing ship.
<刀剣の状態>
研：古研ですが概ね良好。That polishing is old but almost good.
傷: 欠点に成るような傷は有りません。There is no crack.
