「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅やや太く重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で筋違い鑢がかかる。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は柾目肌に小板目が交じり、地沸付き地景入る。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は沸出来の互の目、飛び焼きを焼き、刃縁砂流しかかり、刃中は金筋が働く。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
兼高（本名：桑山隆）は、昭和3年（1928年）9月2日に岐阜県高山市で生まれました。渡邊兼永鍛錬塾で修業を積み、その後、関市東新町で鍛刀していました。
本作は昭和50年（1975年）、兼高刀匠が47歳のときの作品です。よく詰んだ柾目肌を鍛え、その上に沸出来の互の目を焼いた見事な一振りです。刀身の状態は良好で、鍛え割れなどの欠点もなく、拵も良い状態を保っています。ご購入後、すぐに試斬に使用することができます。
また平肉が薄いため、斬味は非常に鋭いと思われます。
Kanetaka, whose real name was Takashi Kuwayama, was born on September 2, 1928 (Shōwa 3) in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. He trained at the Watanabe Kanenaga Forging Dojo and later worked as a swordsmith in Higashishinmachi, Seki City.
This piece was made in 1975 (Shōwa 50), when Kanetaka was 47 years old. It is a splendid blade forged with a finely wrought masame-hada and a well-defined gunome hamon in nie-deki. The blade is in good condition with no flaws such as kitae-ware, and the koshirae is also in fine condition. It can be used for test cutting immediately after purchase.
Also, since the hira-niku (surface curvature) is thin, the cutting performance is expected to be extremely sharp.

ハバキ(habaki) ：銀向一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地鶴丸透かし。
縁頭(futikasira)：浜千鳥の図。
目貫(menuki) ：鉄線花の図。
柄(tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付く。柄巻は正絹黒の諸捻り巻。
鞘(saya) ：鯉口付近は松皮黒、その他は黒呂
