「刀姿 sword figure」
平造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、反り僅か中鋒。茎は生で筋違い鑢がかかる、茎尻は栗尻。
Hira-zukuri with an iori-mune; the mihaba and kasane are of standard proportions, with slight curvature and a chu-kissaki.
The nakago is ubu with sujikai yasurime, and the nakago-jiri is kurijiri.
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌が流れ柾目肌と成る。
The jigane shows flowing itame-hada that becomes masame-hada.
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は沸出来の直の湾れ刃、刃縁沸付き砂流しかかる。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
The hamon is a gently undulating suguha in nie-deki, with nie along the habuchi and sunagashi appearing.
The bōshi is midare-komi and turns back in a small maru.
「特徴 detailed」
新々刀無銘の短刀です。柾目肌から大和伝と思われますが、それ以外は分かりません。
刀身の差裏は肌立っていますが、差表は綺麗です。研ぎは古研ぎのため、少し薄錆が有ります。
小刀拵（ちいさかたなこしらえ）は幕末の物で、コンディションは良い方です。
価格もリーズナブルで、居合道・試斬道や弓道の前差に最適です。
This is an unsigned tanto of Shinshinto. Based on the masame-hada, it is thought to be in the Yamato tradition, but no further attribution is known. The jigane is somewhat rough on the ura side, but clean on the omote side. Because the blade has an old polish, there is slight light rust. The chiisagatana koshirae dates from the late Edo period, and its condition is relatively good. The price is reasonable, and it is ideal for use as a maezashi for iaidō, tameshigiri, or kyudo.
｢拵 Koshirae｣
ハバキ(habaki) ：赤銅一重の磨地。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地木瓜型短刀鍔。
縁頭(futikasira)：鉄地山村の図。
目貫(menuki) ：赤銅地柘榴の図。
柄(tsuka) ：鮫は巻鮫、柄巻は正絹黒色の諸撮み巻
鞘(saya) ：赤茶色に黒色で杢目を入れた、変わり塗。

研：古研ぎのため、少し薄錆が有ります。
傷：差裏が少し肌立っていますが、鍛え割れ等の傷は有りません。
