「刀姿 sword figure」
冠落し造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、無反りふくら枯れる。茎は短く加工されており鑢目筋違い、茎尻は栗尻。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は柾目肌に地沸付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は互の目乱れ、刃縁沸が付き砂流しかかり、刃中は金筋が入る。釯子は乱れ込み尖り深く返る。
「特徴 detailed」
本作は無銘の新々刀短刀です。正確な流派は不明ですが、柾目肌から仙台國包系の可能性があります。
刀身は冠落とし造りで、おそらく懐剣やお守り刀として作られたものと思われます。茎（なかご）は短く加工されていますが、区（まち）はオリジナルのまま残っています。
付属する合口拵は幕末の松代拵で、状態も概ね良好です。お守り短刀として特におすすめの一振りです。
This piece is an unsigned Shinshinto tanto. While the exact school is unknown, the masame-hada (straight-grain forging pattern) suggests it may belong to the Sendai Kunitsugu lineage.
The blade is crafted in the kanmuri-otoshi-zukuri style and was likely made as a ceremonial or protective dagger. The tang (nakago) has been shortened, but the machi (notches) remain original.
The accompanying aikuchi koshirae is a Matsushiro-style mounting from the late Edo period and is in relatively good condition. This tanto is highly recommended as a protective amulet blade.
｢拵 Koshirae｣
合口拵は松代拵で、縁頭・鐺・鍔・小柄袋・笄が真鍮地の一作です。状態は概良好です。
あと白鞘とつなぎが付属します。
ハバキ(habaki) ：銀無垢二重、上蓋に祐乗鑢。
目貫(menuki) ：四分一地猪の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄糸は紙縒糸の諸捻り巻きに漆仕上げ。
小柄(kotsuka) : 小柄穂は無銘です。
鞘(saya) ：茶色に黒の石目艶。
