「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で鑢目は筋違い、茎尻は浅い栗尻。
The blade is shinogi-zukuri with an iori-mune (slightly peaked back), of standard width and thickness, featuring a torii-zori (even curvature) and a medium kissaki (tip).
The nakago (tang) is ubu (unaltered), with sujikai (diagonal) file marks, and the nakagojiri (tang tip) is a shallow kurijiri (chestnut shape).
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄はよく鍛えられた板目肌で、良く詰み、刃縁付近では柾目へと流れています。地景が現れ、さらに地沸が付いています。
The jigane (steel surface) is a well-forged itame-hada (wood grain pattern), tightly packed and flowing into a masame (straight grain) near the hamon (temper line), with visible chikei (steel texture) and accompanied by jinei (fine surface nie crystals).
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は典型的な大阪焼き出しから始まり、その後に力強い丁子刃を焼いており、明瞭な足が入り、尖った刃文も見られます。刃中には活発に金筋が現れています。
帽子は乱れ込みとなり、小さく小丸に返っています。
The hamon (temper line) begins with a typical Osaka-yakidashi, followed by a vigorous choji-ba (clove-shaped pattern), with well-defined ashi (legs) and pointed elements. Inside the hamon, kinsuji (bright streaks of hardened steel) are actively present.
The boshi (temper of the tip) shows midare-komi (irregular continuation of the hamon into the tip) and turns back in a small komaru (round) style.
「特徴 detailed」
相模守為康（さがみのかみ ためやす）は、江戸時代初期（寛文頃）に大坂で活躍した刀匠で、大坂石堂派に属しています。生国は紀州で、備中守康廣の門人です。
地鉄は、美しく詰んだ板目肌で、刃縁付近には流れが見られ、地景が輝くなど、優れた鍛えを示しています。刃紋は典型的な大坂焼き出しから始まり、その後に石堂派特有の丁子刃を焼いており、刃中には金筋が働いています。まさに傑出した脇差です。
コンディションも非常に良好で、価値を損なうような傷や欠点は一切ありません。
拵も同様に状態が良く、手を加える必要はありません。
この優れた大坂石堂派の作品を、ぜひコレクションに加えていただきたい一振りです。
Sagamino Kami Tameyasu was a swordsmith of the early Edo period (around the Kanbun era), active in Osaka and belonging to the Osaka Ishido school. He was originally from Kishu and a disciple of Bitchu no Kami Yasuyuki.
The jigane (steel surface) is beautifully forged with a well-packed itame-hada grain pattern that flows near the hamon (temper line), with shining chikei (visible steel texture), demonstrating excellent craftsmanship. The hamon starts with a typical Osaka-yakidashi, followed by a classic Ishido-style choji pattern, and features active kinsuji (bright lines) within the blade—making this a truly outstanding wakizashi.
The condition is also excellent, with no flaws or defects that would detract from its value.
The koshirae (mounting) is likewise in excellent condition and requires no restoration.

ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅地銀着一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：素銅地木瓜かた赤銅覆輪。
縁頭(fhchikashira)：赤銅石目地蜘蛛の巣に文字。
柄(tsuka) ：鮫は巻鮫、柄糸は正絹黒の諸撮み巻。
鞘(saya) ：黒呂。
