「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で化粧鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻。
The sword has a shinogi-zukuri shape with an iori-mune (rounded back ridge), a standard width and weight, torii-zori (arched curvature), and a chu-kissaki (medium-sized tip). The nakago (tang) is ubu (unshortened) with decorative file marks, and the nakago-jiri (tang end) is in the kuri-jiri (chestnut shape) style.
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は小板目が良く詰み、地沸微塵に付く。
The jigane (steel surface) features tightly packed ko-itame (small wood grain) with a fine covering of ji-nie (tiny martensite crystals).
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は互の目、刃緑微塵に沸が付き砂流しかかり、刃中は葉が入る。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
The hamon (temper line) is in a gunome (zigzag) pattern, densely covered with nie (martensite crystals) and exhibiting sunagashi (sweeping lines). The ha (edge) also features yo (leaf-like patterns) within the hamon. The boshi (tip temper line) is midare-komi (irregular) with a small circular turnback.
「特徴 detailed」
竹内兼正(本名:竹内兼三郎)は、愛知県東春日井郡高蔵寺町出川出身で、後に鳥居町に移りました。彼は元陸軍受命刀匠であり、陸軍軍刀技術奨励会に入選しています。終戦後には作刀を止めました。
本作は昭和20年に制作された鍛錬刀で、「関」のマークがないことから特注品であったと考えられます。
Takeuchi Kanemasa,whose real name is Kanzaburo Takeuchi, was originally from Dekawa, Takaozuka Town, Higashi-Kasugai District, Aichi Prefecture, and later moved to Torii Town. He was an appointed swordsmith for the Imperial Japanese Army and was selected by the Army’s Swordsmanship Technical Promotion Association. After the end of World War II, he stopped sword-making.
This piece, crafted in 1945, is a specially forged sword (tanren-to) and is believed to be a custom order, as it lacks the “Seki” mark.
「拵 Koshirae」
拵は比較的最近作られた物で、コンディションは良いです。
The koshirae (mountings) were made relatively recently and are in good condition.
ハバキ(habaki) :素銅地一重。
鍔(Tsuba) :鉄地妙見の図。
縁頭(FuchiKashira) :縁は鉄地吉野山の図。
目貫(menuki) :素銅地海老の図
柄(Tsuka) :柄巻は正絹納戸色の諸撮み巻。
鞘(Saya) :黒呂。

研:概ね良好です。
傷:欠点に成るような傷は有りません。
