「刀姿 sword figre」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で鑢目は筋違い、茎尻は浅い栗尻。
Shinogi-zukuri with an iori-mune (peaked back), the blade has standard width and thickness, with a torii-style curvature and a medium-sized kissaki.
The tang (nakago) is unaltered (ubu), with slanted file marks (sujikai), and the tang tip is finished in a shallow kuri-jiri (rounded chestnut shape).
「彫物 carving」
彫物は、片チリの棒樋が鎺下に掻き流し。
The horimono consists of a single bohi (groove) with a slight chamfer (kata-chiri), terminating in a kaki-nagashi finish just below the habaki.
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は、板目肌に小板目が交り、刃縁流れ柾心と成り地沸付く。
The jigane (surface steel) shows an itame-hada mixed with ko-itame, while near the hamon the grain flows and becomes masame-like in character, with ji-nie (fine crystalline particles) attached.
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は、丁子刃で足良く入る、刃縁は砂流しかかり銀筋流れ、刃中は金筋が働く。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
The hamon is a chōji-midare pattern with well-defined ashi extending into the blade. The habuchi is accompanied by sunagashi and flowing gin-suji, while vivid kinsuji are actively present within the hamon.
The bōshi is irregular (midare-komi) and turns back in a small rounded (ko-maru) form.
「特徴 detailed」
本作は新々刀期の無銘刀です。制作した刀工および製作国は不明ですが、備前伝の作風を示す一振りです。
刀身は、板目肌に小板目が交じる美しい地鉄を呈し、華やかで見事な丁子刃を焼いています。非常に出来が良く、視覚的にも魅力的な作品です。
以前、居合の稽古で使用されていたため、表面にヒケ（擦り傷）が多く見られます。しかし、致命的な欠点や価値を損なう傷はありません。拭い直しを施すだけで、刀身は見違えるほど美しく蘇るでしょう。
拵は使用感があったため修理済みです。縁頭は新品に交換され、柄は新たに巻き直されています。鍔および鞘も新品です。
抜身の状態では軽量でバランスが良く、扱いやすい一振りです。ご購入後すぐに居合でご使用いただけます。
研ぎをご希望の場合は、7万円にて拭い直しを承ります。期間は約1か月を予定しております。
This is an unsigned Shinshinto-period sword. The exact smith and province of manufacture are unknown; however, it is a blade in the Bizen tradition.
The blade features a beautifully forged jigane of itame-hada mixed with ko-itame, and is tempered with a brilliant and flamboyant chōji hamon. It is an excellent and visually impressive piece.
As it was previously used for Iaido practice, there are many light surface scratches (hike). However, there are no fatal flaws or damage that would detract from its integrity. With a simple nugui finish (re-polishing of the surface), the blade will be restored to a splendid appearance.
The koshirae had some wear and has been repaired. The fuchi-kashira (hilt fittings) have been replaced with new ones, and the tsuka has been newly rewrapped. The tsuba is new, and the saya is also new.
The blade is lightweight and well-balanced when unsheathed, making it easy to handle. It is ready for immediate use in Iaido upon purchase.
If polishing is desired, a nugui re-finishing can be arranged for 70,000 yen, with an estimated completion time of approximately one month.

柄(tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付き巻鮫。柄巻は牛スエードの諸捻り巻き（新品）。」
