「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重共尋常、鳥居反り、小鋒。生茎で化粧鑢がかかる、茎尻は刃上がりの栗尻。
「彫り物 carving」
彫り物は、片チリの棒樋がハバキ下に掻き流しとなる。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は、板目肌が流れ柾目となり、地沸がつく。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は、沸出来の中直刃が湾れ、刃中金筋が栄んに働く。帽子は直ぐに入り小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
小林吉永（本名：小林義良）は、鳥取県米子市在住の刀工であり、同じく鳥取県在住の靖国刀匠・金崎助寿に師事しました。
小林刀匠は、各流派の刀剣制作に長けており、また月山派の秘伝ともされる綾杉肌を見事に再現したことで知られています。新作刀展でも多数入選している実力派の刀工です。
本作は居合用に特別に作られた刀ですが、刃中の働きは素晴らしく、抜身で890gと軽量で深い樋が施され、バランスが非常に優れています。購入後、すぐに居合で使用することが可能です。
Kobayashi Yoshinaga(real name: Yoshiyoshi Kobayashi) is a swordsmith residing in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. He studied under Kanesaki Sukeyoshi, a Yasukuni Shrine swordsmith also based in Tottori Prefecture.
Kobayashi is skilled in forging blades in the styles of various schools, and he is particularly renowned for his exceptional recreation of the ayasugi-hada (綾杉肌) forging pattern, a technique traditionally considered a secret of the Gassan school. He is a highly accomplished swordsmith who has been selected numerous times for the New Sword Exhibition.
This particular sword was specially made for iaido practice. It features outstanding hataki (activity within the blade), and weighs only 850g when drawn. The deep hi (groove) and excellent balance make it ideal for iaido. It is ready for immediate use upon purchase.
｢拵 Koshirae｣
拵の金具類は、全て江戸時代の物を使い作られています。コンディションも良く、このまま居合で使用できます。
ハバキ(habaki) ：銀無垢一重の一文字。
鍔(Tsuba) ：鉄地菊図透かし。
縁頭(FuchiKashira) ：赤銅磨き地葵の図。
目貫(menuki) ：赤銅地紅葉の図。
柄(Tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付く、柄巻は正絹黒の諸捻り巻。
鞘(Saya) ：黒呂。
