「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り小鋒。茎は生で鑢目は筋違い、茎尻は栗尻。
「彫り物 carving」
彫り物は片チリの棒樋が、鎺下に搔き流しとなる。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌が流れ柾となり、地沸付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は互の目乱れ、刃縁沸付き砂流しかかる。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「詳細 detailed」
無銘の新々刀です。茎は磨いたのか、現代刀のように新品のように成っています。
本作は茎が長いため、凄くバランスが良く、手持ちが軽いです。刀身の状態は古研ぎのため、少し曇っていますが錆は無く、地刃は良く見えます。
拵は最近作られた物ですが、鍔以外の金具類は江戸時代の物を使っています。またコンディションは良く使用感は余り感じられません。
刀身が長く、手持ち軽く、拵のコンディションも良く、ご購入後に直ぐに居合で使えます。
This is an unsigned (mumei) shinshinto (late Edo period sword). The nakago appears to have been polished, giving it a like-new appearance similar to that of a modern sword.
Because the nakago is long, the sword is extremely well-balanced and feels very light in hand. The blade is slightly cloudy due to an old polish, but there is no rust, and the jigane and hamon (temper line) are clearly visible.
The koshirae was made recently, but except for the tsuba, the other fittings are from the Edo period. The overall condition is very good, and there is little sign of use.
With its long blade, light feel, and well-maintained koshirae, this sword can be used immediately for iaido practice after purchase.
｢拵 Koshirae｣
ハバキ(habaki) ：鉄地竹の図。
鍔(tsuba) ：素銅地一重の腰祐乗。
縁頭(futikasira)：鉄地雁の図。
目貫(menuki) ：赤銅地柘榴の図。
柄(tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付き巻鮫。柄糸は牛表革の諸捻り巻。
鞘(saya) ：鯉口鮫革巻き黒呂鞘。
