「体配 style」
体配は鎬造り庵棟、身幅広く重やや厚く、鳥居反り大鋒。茎は生で筋違い鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻と成る。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌に小板目が交じり、地沸良く付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は丁子刃、刃縁砂流しかかり足良く入る、刃中は金筋・稲妻が働く。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
肥後國住赤松太郎兼裕、本名は木村馨、昭和36年2月生、熊本県八代市在住、父は木村兼重で、兼嗣、兼照刀匠は兄です。新作刀展での入選多数の実力派の刀匠です。
赤松太郎は、兼嗣を筆頭として兼裕、兼照、兼光、兼幸を育成しています。そしてそれらの刀工は赤松太郎と銘を付け清麿写しには定評があります。
また、彼らは、自家製鉄により玉鋼を制作して作刀を行う為、現在流通している日刀保の玉鋼とはやや趣きが異なります。
本作、超豪壮な体配の清磨写しの脇差で、刃中の働きが最高です。清磨写しの脇差は今まで見た事が無いので、このチャンスをゲットしてください。
また、この脇差は数年前に輸出した物ですが、下取りのために逆輸入しました。
Akamatsu Taro Kanehiro, whose real name is Kaoru Kimura, was born in February 1961 (Showa 36) and resides in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture. His father was swordsmith Kimura Kaneshige, and his elder brothers are the swordsmiths Kanetsugu and Kaneteru. He is a highly skilled smith who has won numerous awards at the New Sword Exhibitions.
Under the name “Akamatsu Tarō,” he has trained Kanetsugu, Kanehiro, Kaneteru, Kanemitsu, and Kaneyuki, all of whom sign their works with the Akamatsu Tarō name and are particularly renowned for their faithful reproductions of Kiyomaro.
Furthermore, as they smelt their own tamahagane through self-made steel production, their swords possess a slightly different character compared to those made with tamahagane distributed by the NBTHK today.
This piece is an exceptionally robust and imposing wakizashi in the style of Kiyomaro, with outstanding activity in the hamon. A Kiyomaro-style wakizashi is something rarely seen—so don’t miss this opportunity.

拵のコンディションは良好です。
ハバキ(habaki) ：銀無垢一重の大坂鎺。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地松樹影透かし、正吉と銘が入る。
縁頭(futikasira)：銀燻石目地。
目貫(menuki) ：蟹の図。
柄(tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付き巻鮫、柄巻きは正絹黒の諸撮み巻き。
鞘(saya) ：乾漆黒石目。
