「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅太く重尋常、鳥居反り小鋒。茎は生で化粧鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻。
「彫物 carving」
彫物は片チリの棒樋が鎺元で丸留。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌が流れ柾となり、地沸付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は華やかな重花丁子刃で、尖り刃を交え、足良く入り砂流しかかり、飛焼きを見せ、刃中葉・金筋が働く。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
阿州正次、本名は藤澤敏雄、徳島県美馬市美馬町清田在住、師は父の正光刀匠（藤沢良吉）です。
本作、鎌倉時代の備前一文字写しです。精緻な地鉄に華やかで働きのある重花丁子刃を焼いています。
現代刀の一文字写しで、ここまで出来の良い重花丁子刃を焼く刀匠は無く、正次刀匠の技量の高さが分かる、至極の作品です。
Asyu Masatsugu, whose real name is Toshio Fujisawa, resides in Kiyota, Mima Town, Mima City, Tokushima Prefecture. He studied under his father, the swordsmith Masamitsu (Ryokichi Fujisawa).
This piece is a faithful reproduction of a Bizen Ichimonji sword from the Kamakura period. It features an exquisite jigane and a flamboyant, highly active jūka-chōji (multiple clove-shaped) hamon.
Among modern swordsmiths, there are virtually none who can produce such a superb jūka-chōji hamon in an Ichimonji-style reproduction, making this a supreme work that clearly demonstrates the exceptional skill of Masatsugu.
「拵 Koshirae」
ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅地赤銅着一重、棟側と刃側は金着。
鞘(saya) ：白鞘。
