「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は磨り揚げられ、切鑢がかかり、茎は一文字に切られる。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌が流れ柾と成り、棒映りが立つ。
「刃紋 hamon」
小沸出来の中直刃、食い違い刃を見せ、刃縁砂流しかかり、刃中は金筋が働く。釯子は直に入り小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
無銘の古刀です。鎬が高く、板目肌に柾目がかる地鉄、小沸出来の中直刃に食い違い刃を焼いていることから、大和手掻または三原の作と考えられます。
刀身は古研ぎのため、薄錆やヒケがありますが、地刃は良く見えます。
太刀拵は幕末のもので、鉄地の太刀金具の金色絵が剥がれていますが、味わい深い風格を醸し出しています。
価格も手頃で、お買い得な一振りです。
This is an unsigned kotō (old sword). Based on its high shinogi, itame-hada with a masame tendency, and the chu-suguha hamon in ko-nie with kuichigai-ha, it is likely a work of the Yamato Tegai or Mihara school.
The blade has an older polish, showing some light surface rust and minor scuff marks, but the hada and hamon remain clearly visible.
The tachi koshirae is from the late Edo period. While the gold inlay on the iron tachi fittings has worn off, it adds a refined, antique character to the piece.
Offered at an affordable price, this tachi is an excellent value.
｢拵 Koshirae｣
鉄地の太刀金具を使った、太刀拵です。作られた時代は江戸時代後期でしょう。コンディションは良いです。
白鞘、つなぎ。
ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅地銀着一重の磨き地に日輪と月の図。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地太刀鍔。
太刀金具(tachi-kanagu)：鉄地金色絵太刀金具。
目貫(menuki) ：金地龍の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄は錦で巻かれ、柄糸は正絹蛇腹糸の諸撮み巻。
鞘(saya) ：螺鈿の上に薄い茶色を塗った変わり塗。

研：古研ぎのため、曇っており、薄錆が有りますが、地刃は見えます。
傷：欠点になるような傷は有りません。
