「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で筋違い鑢がかかる、茎尻は栗尻。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は小板目肌が良くつみ地沸付く、鎬は柾目。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は互の目乱れ、焼き出しは直に焼く。刃緑微塵に沸が付き砂流しかかり、刃中は簾刃のような金筋が入る。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
佐々木一峯は、江戸時代寛永年間の近江国の刀工であり、近江源氏佐々木氏の一族、山崎氏の出自とされています。『近江刀工伝』によると、山崎佐々木氏は彦根西方の荒神山麓の集落、山崎を故地とし、甘呂俊長の甘呂荘に隣接する地域に居住していたとされています。
二代目の一峯は善四郎と名乗り、天和頃に活動しており、江戸でも活躍しました。
本作は二代善四郎一峯の作で、精緻に鍛えられた地鉄に、美しく華やかな互の目乱れの刃文を焼いた、素晴らしい一振りです。
拵は、桐紋をあしらった金具類で統一された上質なもので、洗練された風格を備えています。
Sasaki Ippo was a swordsmith from Omi Province during the Kan’ei era of the Edo period. He was a member of the Sasaki clan, a branch of the Omi Genji, and was of Yamazaki lineage. According to the Omi Token Den (Record of Omi Swordsmiths), the Yamazaki Sasaki family originated from the settlement of Yamazaki at the western foot of Mount Kojin in Hikone, adjacent to the Karo Manor of Karo Toshinaga.
The second-generation Ippo, named Zenshirō, was active around the Tenna era and also worked in Edo.
This piece is a work by the second-generation Zenshirō Ippo. It features a finely forged jigane with a beautifully executed gunome-midare hamon, making it a truly exceptional sword.
The koshirae is of high quality, with all the fittings adorned with paulownia crests, creating a refined and elegant mounting.

拵のコンディションは良好です。
ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅地金着一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：赤銅磨き地鶴の図。
縁頭(futikasira)：赤銅魚子地家紋の図（菊と桐）。
目貫(menuki) ：三連桐紋の図。
返り角(kaeritsuno) : 赤銅地素銅据物瓢箪の図。
笄(kogai) : 赤銅魚子地桐紋の図。
柄(tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付き巻鮫。柄糸は変わり糸の諸撮み巻き。
鞘(saya) ：乾漆焦げ茶色に青貝散し。
