「刀姿 sword figre」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅やや太く重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で筋違い鑢がかかる、茎尻は栗尻。
Shinogi-zukuri with an iori-mune (peaked back), the blade has slightly wide and standard thickness, with torii-style curvature and a medium-sized kissaki.
The tang (nakago) is ubu (unaltered) with sujikai-yasuri (diagonal file marks), and the tang tip is in kuri-jiri (rounded chestnut shape) form.
「彫物 carving」
片チリの棒樋が目釘穴の辺まで書き流しとなる。
A katakiri bohi extends toward the area of the mekugi-ana and ends in a flowing kaki-nagashi finish
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌が流れ、地沸付く。
The jigane (surface steel) shows a flowing itame-hada with ji-nie present.
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は焼き幅の広い湾れ刃、刃縁沸付き砂流しかかる。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
The hamon is a wide suguha-based notare (undulating) pattern, with abundant nie along the habuchi and traces of sunagashi.
The bōshi is midare-komi and turns back in a ko-maru (small rounded) form.
「特徴 detailed」
無銘の新々刀です。製作地は不明です。刀身は軽量で抜身のバランスも良いです。古研ぎのためやや曇りが見られますが、欠点となるような傷はございません。
拵は比較的近年に製作されたもので、コンディションは良好でしっかりとした造りです。
軽量で手持ちのバランスにも優れ、拵の状態も良いため、すぐに居合にご使用いただけます。
This is an unsigned Shinshinto-period sword. The place of manufacture is unknown.
The blade is lightweight and well-balanced when unsheathed. Although it shows slight cloudiness due to an older polish, there are no flaws that would detract from its integrity.
The koshirae was made relatively recently and is in good, solid condition.
Being lightweight and well-balanced in the hand, with the koshirae also in good condition, it is ready for immediate use in Iaido practice.

ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅地銀着一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地冥加透かし。
縁頭(futikasira)：縁は鉄地唐草銀象嵌。
目貫(menuki) ：赤銅地布袋大国の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄巻は正絹黒の諸撮巻。
鞘(saya) : 黒呂
