「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅やや細く重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で切鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌に地沸付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は互の目、刃縁砂流しかかり、刃中は葉が入る。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
備前國住人家次、家次は室町時代永正頃の備前長船の刀工で、応永頃から代々続く。一説には吉井の系統とも言われる。
本作、板目肌に覇気の有る互の目を焼いた刀で、流石古刀だけ有って刀身は軽く、抜身の重量も899gです。
刀身は古研ぎのためヒケや汚れがが有りますが、軽い研ぎで綺麗に成ります。
拵は、鞘の塗に剥がれや修復のあとが有ります。また柄は最近作られた物で柄下地は桜の木で作られています。
重量軽く、バランス良く、ご購入が直ぐに居合で使えます。
Bizen no Kuni Jū Ietsugu.
Ietsugu was a swordsmith of the Bizen Osafune school around the Eishō era of the Muromachi period, belonging to a lineage that continued from the Ōei era onward. Some theories suggest he was connected to the Yoshii line.
This piece is a blade with an itame-hada and a vigorous gunome hamon. As expected of a truly old sword, the blade is light, with a weight of just 899 grams when drawn.
Because the blade still has an old polish, there are some scratches and tarnish, but it can be made beautiful again with a light polish.
The koshirae shows some peeling and repair marks in the lacquer of the saya. also, the tsuka is a recently made piece, with the core constructed from cherry wood.
It is lightweight and well-balanced, allowing you to use it for Iaido immediately after purchase.
「拵 Koshirae」
ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅地銀着一重の斜め鑢。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地木瓜形勝虫の図、四方猪の目透かし。
縁頭(futikasira)：赤銅磨き地、安宅関図。
目貫(menuki) ：赤銅地菊の図金色絵。
柄(tsuka) ：柄巻は正絹黒の諸捻り巻。
鞘(saya) ：黒呂
