「刀姿 sword figure」
体配は鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で筋違い鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻と成る。
「彫物 carving」
彫物は表裏に片チリの棒樋がハバキ下に掻き流し。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は、小板目肌がが詰み、地沸付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃文は互の目で足良く入り、刃中稲妻、金筋が入る。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
関住兼道、本名小島郁夫、祖父の初代兼道没後に二代兼道を襲名する。岐阜県関市在住、師は初代兼道と父の兼時。昭和五十六年（1981）以来新作名刀展の連続入選を続け、努力賞1回、優秀賞を2回受賞しています。御子息は二代兼時で、若手の刀匠として活躍しています。また小島刀匠は美濃伝作刀保存協会の会長としても活躍されていました、正しく現代を代表する美濃伝の刀匠です。
本作は、居合用に作られた刀ですが、見事に美濃伝を焼き上げています。
刀身は研ぎ上がりたて、柄巻は新品です。茎が長く抜き身の重量が849gと無茶苦茶軽くバランス良く、ご購入後直に居合で使えます。
Seki-jū Kanemichi, real name Ikuo Kojima, inherited the name of the second-generation Kanemichi after the passing of his grandfather, the first-generation Kanemichi. He resides in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. He studied under both the first-generation Kanemichi and his father Kanetoki. Since 1981 (Shōwa 56), he has been repeatedly selected for the New Sword Exhibition, receiving the Effort Award once and the Excellence Award twice. His son, the second-generation Kanetoki, is also active as a young swordsmith. Mr. Kojima also served as the president of the Mino Den Swordsmith Preservation Association, truly a leading contemporary master of the Mino Den tradition.
This piece was made for iaido practice and beautifully displays the Mino Den hamon style.
The blade has just been freshly polished, and the tsuka-maki is brand new. With a long tang and an exceptionally light weight of 849 grams when drawn, it has excellent balance and is ready for immediate use in iaido after purchase.
｢拵 Koshirae｣
柄巻は新品です。鞘は割れや塗に剥がれも無く、拵は全体的にコンディションは良いです。
鎺(habaki) ：銀無垢一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地菖蒲透かし。
縁頭(fhchikashira)：銀地肥後山道唐草金象嵌。
目貫(menuki) ：柿の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄は親粒が付く。柄糸は牛表革の諸捻り巻。
鞘(saya) ：黒石目艶。
