「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で鷹の羽鑢がかかる、茎尻は葉上がりの栗尻。
「彫物 carving」
彫物は片チリの棒樋が鎺元で丸留と成る。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は、板目肌が詰み、刃縁辺から柾と成り、地沸厚く付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は、尖り互の目、刃縁小沸付き、砂流しかかり、刃中は金筋が働く。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
濃州住浅野兼真、本名は浅野真一、明治45年3月15日生まれ、関市仲町住、陸軍受命刀匠。
本作は、戦時中に関で作られた刀ですが、関の刻印が無く、また刀身が軽いため、鍛錬刀として作られた物です。重量軽くバランス良く、刀身の状態も良く、直ぐに居合で使えます。
Noshu-jū Asano Kanesane, whose real name was Shinichi Asano, was born on March 15, 1912 (Meiji 45) and lived in Nakamachi, Seki City. He was an officially appointed swordsmith by the Imperial Japanese Army.
This sword was made in Seki during the wartime period, but it does not bear the typical Seki arsenal stamp, and the blade is relatively light, indicating that it was forged as a traditional tōtanren-tō (fully hand-forged blade) rather than a mass-produced military blade. The condition of the blade is good, and if the tsuba is replaced with a lighter, openwork design, it would be suitable for iaido use.

ハバキ(habaki) ：素銅磨き地の一重。
鍔(tsuba) ：真鍮地笹の図。
縁頭(futikasira)：素銅地蔦の図。
目貫(menuki) ：素銅地金鍍金の笹の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄巻きは正絹黒色の諸捻りまき。
鞘(saya) ：貝散し鞘。
