「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅重尋常、鳥居反り大鋒。茎は生で鑢目は切、茎尻は一文字。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌が詰み地沸が付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は互の目乱れ、刃縁荒沸が付き、砂流しが掛かり、刃中は金線が働く。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
無銘の新々刀です。時代は江戸時代後期ですが国は不明です。地鉄は板目肌で、刃紋は互の目乱れの相州伝を焼いています。古研ぎのため刀身は曇っており汚れやヒケも有りますが、地刃は良く見えます。
しかし樋が無い割には重量軽くバランス良く、拵もしっかりしているので、居合や試斬に最適です。
This is a shinshintō (late Edo period sword) with no signature (mumei). While the exact province of origin is unknown, the jigane (steel grain) shows an itame-hada pattern, and the hamon is a gunome-midare in the Sōshū-den tradition.
Due to an old polish, the blade surface appears cloudy, with some stains and minor scratches, though the jihada and hamon remain clearly visible.
Despite lacking a hi (groove), the blade is relatively light and well-balanced. The koshirae (mounting) is also solid, making this sword ideal for iaido or tameshigiri (test cutting).

ハバキ(habaki) ：銀無垢一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地天保鍔。
縁頭(futikasira)：肥後素銅地黒染桜金象嵌。
目貫(menuki) ：金地蓮の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄巻は正絹黒色の諸撮み巻。
鞘(saya) ：黒呂。

拵のコンディションは良好です。
研：古研ぎのため刀身は曇っており汚れやヒケも有りますが、地刃は良く見えます。
傷：鍛え割れ等欠点に成るような傷は有りません。
