鎬造り庵棟、身幅太く重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で鑢目は筋違い、茎尻は栗尻と成る。

「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は板目肌に杢が交じり、地沸付く。
「刃紋 hamon」
刃紋は湾れ互の目、尖りを交え飛び焼きを焼き、足入り、刃中は葉が入る。釯子は浅く入り尖り返り、鋒には葉が入る。
「特徴 detailed」
紀伊國治光（本名：大川治）は、1936年（昭和11年）生まれ、新宮市在住の刀匠です。
17歳の時に父・大川哲氏に師事し、刀工としての道を歩み始めました。その後、河内國平刀匠のもとで研鑽を積みました。
2004年（平成16年）には、その功績が認められ、和歌山県の名匠に指定されています。
本作は居合用に特注された刀で、那智勝浦町の文化勲章受章者である故・川上師によって研磨されています。
弊社が前所有者から直接買い取ったもので、居合での使用頻度は少なかったとのことです。
そのため、刀身には軽微なヒケや居合稽古による使用感があるものの、全体的には比較的良好な状態を保っています。
また、拵の柄には若干の使用感が見られますが、その他の部分は良好な状態です。
刃は鋭くしっかりと立っており、ご購入後すぐに試斬で使用可能です。
Kii no Kuni Harumitsu, whose real name is Osamu Ōkawa, was born in 1936 (Showa 11) and resides in Shingu City.
At the age of 17, he began training under his father, Tetsu Ōkawa, to become a swordsmith. Later, he studied under Kawachi Kunihira.
In 2004 (Heisei 16), he was recognized for his achievements and designated as a master craftsman of Wakayama Prefecture.
This sword was custom-made for iaido and was polished by the late Kawakami, a recipient of the Order of Cultural Merit from Nachikatsuura Town.
Our company acquired this sword directly from the previous owner, who stated that it was not frequently used for iaido.
As a result, the blade has minor scuff marks and some signs of use from iaido practice, but overall, it remains in relatively good condition.
The koshirae also has slight wear on the tsuka (handle), but other parts are in good condition.
The edge remains sharp and well-defined, making it ready for immediate use in tameshigiri after purchase.

ハバキ(habaki) ：銀無垢一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(tsuba) ：鉄地海鼠透かし杢目模様。
縁頭(futikasira)：馬の図。
目貫(menuki) ：牡丹の図。
柄(tsuka) ：柄巻は正絹紺色の諸撮み巻。
鞘(saya) ：濃紺艶。
