「刀姿 sword figure」
鎬造り庵棟、身幅やや太く重尋常、鳥居反り中鋒。茎は生で化粧鑢がかかり、茎尻は栗尻。
「彫物 carving」
彫物は片チリの棒樋が鎺下に掻き流し。
「地鉄 jigane」
地鉄は小板目に柾目が強く流れ、地沸がつき柾に沿って地景が働く。
「刃紋 hamon」
地鉄は沸出来の互の目乱れ、刃縁砂流栄んにかかる、刃中は金筋が盛んに働き二重刃、三重刃となる。釯子は掃掛て小丸に返る。
「特徴 detailed」
沖芝源信昭（平安城源信昭とも銘を切る）は、昭和25年（1950年）生まれで、大阪府八尾市に在住しています。彼の父・信重は、戦時中の陸軍受命刀匠として活躍した刀匠です。
本作は、居合用に特注されたものと思われます。身幅がやや広く堂々とした刀姿ですが、茎が長く作られているため、バランスが良く、重量の割に手に持った感覚は軽やかです。
刀身の状態は概ね良好で、横手筋にわずかなヒケがある程度で、使用頻度は少なかったと考えられます。
拵は江戸時代の古い金具類を使用して作られており、前所有者の洗練されたセンスが伺えます。
この刀は、購入後すぐに居合での使用が可能であり、コレクションとしても非常に価値のある一振りです。
Okishiba Minamoto Nobuaki, who also signed as “Heianjo Minamoto Nobuaki,” was born in 1950 (Showa 25) and resides in Yao City, Osaka Prefecture. His father, Nobushige, was an officially appointed swordsmith for the Japanese Army during the war.
This particular blade was likely custom-made for iaido practice. While slightly wide and imposing in appearance, its extended tang provides excellent balance, making it feel light in hand despite its weight.
The blade’s overall condition is good, with minimal scuff marks on the yokote, suggesting that it has seen little use.
The koshirae (mountings) were crafted using antique fittings from the Edo period, showcasing the refined taste of the previous owner.
This sword is ready for immediate use in iaido practice and would also make an excellent addition to any collection.

拵のコンディションは良好です。
ハバキ(habaki) ：銀無垢一重の腰祐乗。
鍔(Tsuba) ：鉄地平安城車透かし。
縁頭(FuchiKashira) ：赤銅磨き地桜の図
目貫(menuki) ：赤銅地水仙の図。
柄(Tsuka) ：鮫は親粒が付き巻鮫、柄巻きは正絹黒の諸撮み巻き。
鞘(Saya) ：黒呂。

傷：欠点に成るような傷は有りません。
